Expert RAMS Review & Acceptance

A signed acceptance form, with comments your subcontractor can act on

Reviewed by a team with 25+ years of HV electrical project management across oil & gas, DNO, ICP, EPC and renewables, backed by civils and HSE specialists. Every RAMS is checked against the same 20 points.

SM-RAMS-02

Brief the site team before work starts

A reviewed RAMS only works if the people doing the job know what's in it. The accepted RAMS, and any advice, conditions or changes from our review, must be clearly communicated to the site team before work starts. The site manager remains responsible for the briefing and for keeping the signed record.

What's included

Every review includes

  • A completed, signed SiteMentor RAMS Review & Acceptance Form (SM-RAMS-01) in PDF and Word
  • A clear decision on each of the 20 checks: Yes, Yes with comments, No or N/A
  • Written comments the subcontractor can act on straight away
  • An overall status: Approved, Approved with comments, or Returned for revision
  • One free re-check of the revised RAMS within 30 days (further re-checks £50 ex VAT)
  • A RAMS Briefing & Acknowledgement Record (SM-RAMS-02) so your site manager can brief the accepted RAMS and every change to the site team, with each operative signing that they've read and understood it

How it works

Five steps

  1. Send your RAMS

Email it to advice@sitementor.co.uk with the project name, principal contractor and the date you need it back.

  2. We review it

The right specialist checks it against all 20 points (electrical, civils or HSE) on the SiteMentor acceptance form and writes clear comments on anything missing or unclear.

  3. You get a signed form

You receive the completed form in PDF and Word, ready to send to the subcontractor and keep in the site file.

  4. Free re-check

When the subcontractor sends back a revised RAMS within 30 days, we check it again at no extra cost.

  5. Brief the site team

Your site manager explains the accepted RAMS, and every comment, condition and change from our review, to everyone doing the work before it starts. Each operative signs the briefing record (SM-RAMS-02).
