Why site teams use it

Less back-and-forth with subbies. A proper record if anyone asks.

RAMS tend to come back for revision for the same handful of reasons. SiteMentor puts those points in front of you, in the same order, every time.

YES · YES WITH COMMENTS · NO

Decisions with reasons

Every NO and every conditional acceptance needs a written comment, so the subcontractor knows exactly what to fix before resubmitting.

SECTION 6 · AP

Electrical done properly

System voltage, AP / CP appointment, proof of isolation, arc flash and HV exclusion zones are checked in their own section, with a separate AP countersign.

How it works

From inbox to signed form

  1. Start a review

Add the project, principal contractor, subcontractor and RAMS reference. Attach the RAMS PDF if you want it kept with the review.

  2. Work through the 20 checks

Mark each one YES, YES WITH COMMENTS, NO or N/A. The tool suggests an overall status from your answers. You make the final call.

  3. Sign, send and brief

Sign on screen, download the form as PDF or Word and send it back. Then brief the accepted RAMS and every change to the site team, and have each operative sign the briefing record (SM-RAMS-02) to confirm they've read and understood it.

Questions

Before you sign up

What does it cost?

The tool is free during early access, and you don't need a card. A Pro plan with secure cloud storage, team sharing and your company logo on the form is planned for 2027, from £19 per user per month ex VAT. Retainer clients get the tool free. Prefer us to do the review for you? See our pricing.

Does it replace my AP, TWC or H&S adviser?

No. SiteMentor helps you check a RAMS consistently and record your decision. Permits, temporary works and electrical safety decisions stay with your appointed competent persons, such as the Authorised Person and the Temporary Works Coordinator.

What happens after a RAMS is accepted?

A reviewed RAMS only protects people if they know what's in it. The accepted RAMS, and any advice, conditions or changes from the review, must be clearly explained to the site team before work starts. The site manager or supervisor leads the briefing and records it on our briefing record (SM-RAMS-02), which every operative signs to confirm they have read and understood it.

Where are my reviews stored?

In your browser, on the device you use. They are not uploaded to us. Download the signed form for your records, and note that clearing your browser data removes saved reviews.

What do you do with my details?

We keep your name, email, contact number and company to run your account and, only if you tick the box, to send occasional tips and product news. See the privacy notice.

Can my whole team use it?

Yes. Each person signs up with their own email. Team accounts with shared reviews are on the way.

Your next RAMS is probably already in your inbox.
